The Zeta Gundam gets a 2.0 upgrade, now having a revamped inner frame and improved joints. The Zeta Gundam can transform to Wave Rider mode and comes equipped with a Beam Rifle, Hyper Mega Launcher, Shield, and Beam Sabers and a custom catapult base.

In celebration of the release of the Zeta Gundam Blu Ray discs Bandai released a special version of the MG Zeta 2.0 with a high gloss finish and features new waterslide decals.
